Ishtara is a science-supported, body-based method of moving meditation designed to create new patterns in the way you feel, act, and relate.

Most healing methods try to fix you, change you, or help you get rid of difficult feelings. But this only keeps us in cycles of more fixing.
Here's our truth: You are not broken. Your feelings are not problems. Your patterns are not a problem. Your body is not a problem. Your body is the solution.
In Ishtara, healing happens as a result of completing patterns at the source, your body, in a way that is safe and loving.

Rise in Your Life


Return and Release
We return to the body and safely move and release our emotions in order to access their gifts. We transform sadness into love, fear into intuition, anger into passion, and shame into worth.

Repair and Rewire
We repair our pasts by meeting the underlying needs of our patterns through breath, movement, and sensation. As we complete these patterns, we rewrite the old stories that live in our bodies and show up in our lives.



Rise and Reclaim
We rise in our lives as we create new patterns that allow us to and experience more love, power, and freedom. We reclaim a truer sense of who we are as we restore all parts of our selves back into wholeness.
Level I: Body Story
You will learn:

The foundation of the Ishtara® Method- a trauma-informed moving meditation that you can practice at home in just 15 minutes!

How to relate to your body as a being and not a thing.
-
How to safely move and conduct a full range of emotion through your body.
-
How to identify the underlying needs behind your emotions and how to meet these needs directly.
-
How to use this method to create noticeable shifts in the way you feel, act and relate in all areas of your life including love, power, money and self-worth!

Over 100-pages of guidebooks with at-home practice

Attendance Policy
Due to the sensitive nature of this work and the trauma-informed approach of this curriculum, full attendance in ALL 6 classes of Body Story is mandatory. In unavoidable situations, make-up classes must be pre-arranged with me before the first class.

Level II: Body Personality
(Completing Level I: Body Story is a pre-requisite for this course)
You will learn:

How to recognize different protective patterns your body has learned for defending, coping and reacting in order to survive.

How to determine your unique body personality based on which combination of these patterns are most prevalent for you.

How to use the Ishtara® Method to create new liberating patterns that teach your nervous system how to access more power, pleasure and freedom of expression.

How to increase you movement vocabulary.
-
How to choose your own music to start customizing the practice for yourself at home.

Optional Add-on Private Coaching Sessions
(Available ONLY to clients currently enrolled in a group program with Katie)
All group program participants have the option of purchasing additional hour long coaching sessions with Katie, at a discounted rate, to help integrate, deepen and personalize the work happening within any group program.
